Booking and timing

Can I book a same-day shoot?

Yes. For anything less than 24 hours out, text or call us at 816-705-0008 to confirm a time. For shoots further out, you can book online in a few minutes.

How fast are photos and videos delivered?

Photos are delivered the next morning in walkthrough order, so there is little sorting on your end. Saturday shoots are delivered Monday morning. Videos are delivered within 3 business days.

Is there a rush fee?

Same-day photo delivery is available for a $50 rush fee. Standard next-morning delivery has no extra cost.

What areas do you cover?

The whole Kansas City metro in Missouri and Kansas, from St. Joseph to Topeka, plus Lake of the Ozarks. Applicable travel fees are calculated at the final step of ordering.

Listing agents

Do I need video for my listing?

Technically, no. Plenty of agents list with just photos, even phone photos. It depends on your goal. The agents winning the next few years are modernizing their marketing: making listing videos, getting on social media and marketing their listings at the highest level.

Why? First, video markets the property and gives it the best shot on the market, which means you are serving your clients at a high level. Second, it is the most powerful marketing tool you can use. Every listing video is a marketing piece for your personal brand or team as well as the property. Done consistently, it grows your business, brings in new leads and shows every seller watching how you market a home.

What is the difference between a Signature Video and a Walkthrough Video?

A Walkthrough Video is a simple room-to-room tour so buyers understand the layout. A Signature Video is made for social media: shot on cinema cameras, with a creative idea that fits the house, detail shots that show how it feels to live there, and music and editing made for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Drone footage is included in both. If you want to grow your business through social media, the Signature Video is for you.

Are twilight photos worth it?

Twilight photos get more attention on the MLS, Zillow and social media because they stand out from every daytime listing around them. They are also the gold standard in luxury real estate marketing. They give your brand a higher-end feel and show the property at the most beautiful time of day, with every light on and an evening sky behind it.

We shoot real twilight photos just after sunset, starting at $350. A virtual twilight edit is $15 per photo.

How do Zillow 3D tours work, and do you do floor plans?

We are a Zillow Showcase provider and partner. We capture the home and the tour syncs straight to your Zillow listing, so buyers can walk through the home from anywhere. That is great for out-of-state buyers and relocations, and listings with a Zillow 3D tour get a boost on Zillow. We recommend Zillow over Matterport for homes because Zillow does not support Matterport tours on its listings.

A 3D tour can be added to any package starting at $150. 2D floor plans with room measurements and total square footage are $45.

Can you fly drones anywhere in Kansas City?

Yes, almost anywhere. Rarely, usually close to an airport, an area requires FAA approval first, which can take a few days. If that applies, we will let you know when you book.

How do I prep a home for real estate photos?

The most important things:

  • Move cars out of the driveway
  • Hide trash cans in the garage
  • Turn off sprinkler timers
  • Replace burnt out bulbs
  • Keep pets contained and hide pet bowls
  • Mow the lawn and put away hoses
  • Clean, vacuum and declutter as much as possible
  • Clear countertops and put away dishes
  • Make beds
  • Clear items on and above the fridge
  • Remove personal items from bathroom sinks, showers and tubs
  • Hide scales, bath rugs and bathroom trash cans

The full checklist is on our Pre-Shoot Checklist page, and you can download it to send to your sellers. On site, our photographers also turn on every light, turn off fans and note anything to clean up in the edit.

When should a Coming Soon video go out?

Before the listing goes live. It builds anticipation and gives you extra content to post ahead of the main Signature Video. The Coming Soon Video is $250, and the Coming Soon Package (video, 10 photos and a virtual twilight) is $345.

How do I get the most out of my listing video?

  • Post it on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Each one reaches a different crowd.
  • Share it to your story the day you post it, and share it in local Facebook groups.
  • Start the caption with a call to action, like: Comment RAYMORE and I will send you the details. Put the property details, local keywords and up to 5 local hashtags at the bottom.
  • Include your brokerage name in the caption. Missouri and Kansas both require it on real estate advertising.
  • If you boost it, wait at least 3 days so you get all of the free reach first.

Our free Listing Media Guide covers all of it step by step, including the AI caption prompts we give our agents.

What is the property website?

Every order comes with a property website that has all of the media in one place. It is easy to share with your sellers, it does not expire, and it has a contact form that sends leads to your Skyview account. Add your name, headshot and socials in your account profile and they show up on every property website automatically.

How do I grow on social media as a real estate agent?

Be consistent and put yourself in your content. Listing videos with you on camera, Just Sold videos and personal brand videos show people who you are and how you market a home. Every listing is a chance to post something new. Agents who show up consistently build the audience that turns into leads.

New to camera

I have never been on camera. Can you help?

Yes. We work with agents who have never been on camera all the time. We help with the script, make sure it is on brand and sounds right for you, and show you where to put your hands and which spot to do the intro in. Then we film it a few times and pick the best take. We make any agent look like a natural, and you are in and out in about 30 minutes. An Agent Intro makes a listing video massively more valuable.

Do you write the script?

Yes. We walk the property, take notes and ask you questions about the ideal buyer and the best features of the home and area. Then we write a script that matches your voice and brand.

What should I wear on camera?

Whatever feels right to you. You are showing up as your brand, so wear what you would wear in a professional setting. Do not overthink it.
